    Dan Stults '78-81 Chair Dan Stults developed an interest in the drivers of human behavior and the questions of what we know and how we know it. These interests led to a Ph.D. in Experimental Social Psychology, a focus on experimental design, statistics, and a career of research. Published in the areas of Experimental Social Psychology, Psychometrics, and Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Dan left academics to take leadership positions in industry where he worked to understand the unmet needs of individuals and the best ways to fulfill those needs. His most recent position was as Head, Global Business Intelligence for AbbVie. Currently a resident of Sarasota, Dan can be found working with the New College Foundation when he is not on the water, playing with his dogs or communing with family.

    Leslie Reinherz '70-74 Chair Elect Leslie Reinherz graduated from New College with a major in biology in 1974. She then attended Duke University, where she received a Ph.D. in Zoology in 1980. She went on to a career as a filmmaker and journalist, specializing in science, technology and medicine, producing programs for outlets such as the PBS “Nova” series, the Audubon Society, and the New York Times. Currently she is an instructor of biotechnology and English, teaching adult immigrants in the Boston area through a program at Jewish Vocational Services. Leslie lives in Sharon, Massachusetts. She is the stepmother of Rachael (Herrup-Morse) Simms, '95-'99. In her spare time, Leslie enjoys travel, charity work and cooking.

    Kati Baruja '96 Kati graduated from New College in 2000 with a major in humanities. She worked in non-profits all over Latin America for several years and later obtained an MA in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her passion for cross-cultural dialogue led to a career in the Foreign Service of the U.S. Department of State, and she has served tours in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico with a short-term assignment to Lima, Peru. She recently arrived at her new post in Tel Aviv, Israel with her wife and their 6-year-old son.
